I'm so glad you've found my little corner of the internet.
Hi friend! My name is Alexandra VanDooren, the founder & lead creator behind Marie and Mae and, fingers crossed, your future brand designer. I absolutely adore beautiful things, both physical & virtual. I will seek out local bakeries whenever I visit a new-to-me city, and I am a self-diagnosed lifelong learner; never happy sitting still.
I find myself romanticizing everything in life & constantly searching for a bright side. I like to think I'm an eternal optimist (or maybe just a bit delulu?) Either way, it truly fills my cup when I get to help bring joy and peace to someone's life (any other Enneagram 9's out there?) Combining that with my passion for all things personalized + pretty, I'd say this is an absolute dream job.
The story of how Marie + Mae came to be is honestly a bit of a mess. But isn't life that way? In short, I've always been torn between different passions, scared to choose the wrong one. It took me awhile to realize, I didn't need to choose. So, I decided to follow my heart and dive in to what is now one of my most favorite things to do, work with beautiful souls like you! Are we meant to be?
